The PVDF Rod is a tough, hard and mechanically strong material with good chemical resistance and low coefficient of friction. Excellent electrical insulation properties, low moisture absorption and good resistance to weathering. Widely used in water systems and as linings for pipes, valves, pumps and water tanks, due to being physiologically safe. Not as resistant to high temperatures as PTFE but is stronger and has a greater load and creep resistance at low temperatures. Good mechanical, electrical and chemical properties make it ideal for use in the nuclear engineering, electrical and chemical processing industries.
